Snake River Meadow Engagement Session

This time of year in Idaho is always a bit hard for outdoor photo sessions unless you head up to the snowy mountains! And we weren’t wanting snow for this Snake River Meadow Engagement Session. We had a location in mind and then last minute switched up just in case it rained like the forecast said it would! haha!

Alexis & Joey met at Utah State University their freshman year in bowling class! They became friends and kept in touch for a couple years before starting to date! Alexis said, ‘The proposal was actually where we first caught feelings, the fairgrounds in Blackfoot! He took me down memory lane with signs & beautifully set up tables that shared various parts of our story. I also got to make a charm bracelet that had charms to represent each part of our story as well. After he proposed and I said yes, we shared a pull apart that we first ate at the fair together as well’. How cute is that!? As an Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer I absolutely love hearing love stories and when I saw Alexis & Joey in person it was so apparent how in love they really are!

They were so sweet together during our whole Snake River Meadow Engagement Session and I loved seeing their relationship! You can tell that they know how to have fun together but they are also so tender with each other and couldn’t keep their eyes off each other which was so sweet to watch! We lucked out with NO rain and thankfully not much wind either which was a great surprise! We also had SO many incredible backdrops and spots for photos at Snake River Meadow so we were really able to get a variety of photos! As an Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer, one of my main goals during Engagement Sessions and Weddings is to get a huge variety of photos in a short amount of time! I don’t want all your photos to look the same to you! So, we do lots of different poses and posing prompts and we are moving all the time during your time with me! haha! I can’t wait to photograph this sweet couple again for their wedding in June!

And if snow is your thing, you’ll want to check out these Snowy Mountain Idaho Bridals from last year at this time!
