Awh! This is my first photography session in Seattle! I don’t know that anyone would say moving is easy, but there is SO much natural beauty in the Seattle and PNW area and I can’t wait to explore more! For my first Seattle Engagement Session, I think we found some amazing spots!
I actually met Marissa a few years ago when I photographed her sisters wedding! Since then I have photographed their extended family photos, another sister’s wedding and family photos and now her engagements and her wedding coming up this year in June! Marissa is the youngest of 6 siblings and Kincaid is the oldest of 4 so it’s the last wedding for her family and the first wedding for his family! haha! As a PNW Wedding Photographer, I loved getting to know this sweet couple more during their engagement session in Seattle!
Marissa and Kincaid met in a college class at BYU-Idaho and developed a friendship that later turned into a relationship! They fit together so well and love playing spikeball, card games with friends or going country dancing together! We even fit in a little country dancing during their Seattle Engagement Session with the sun behind them and the photos are epic!
We started our session at Forest Park in Everett which is SO pretty and named very well. haha! There are lots of trails through the park so we had some amazing spots for photos! We had Marissa and Kincaid giving piggy back rides, trying to knock each other over and definitely fitting in lots of kisses with the dreamy forest light through the trees! We headed to Grand Avenue Park in Everett to end our session where we got some country dancing photos and photos by blossom trees. Kincaid and Marissa are so natural together and you can tell that they just fit! I loved seeing their relationship and how their smiles would get bigger and bigger every time they looked at each other! I can’t wait for their wedding this June in Idaho!
