This Kelly Canyon Family Session was one for the books! I had scouted out and found the perfect location for this family session and then of course when we went up there, all the leaves were gone from the spot I found! So, we had to improvise. Luckily, we still found some good spots with leaves and this family was so understanding about it!! Tasha and I have been friends since middle school but we really started to click in High School and we were roommates in collage too! We’ve kind of come in and out of each others lives, not because we don’t want to connect, but because life happens! haha!
But we really started doing a lot together once we had kids and have basically been inseparable ever since! We hang out at least once a month and we do lots of fun things together with our kids too! So, I definitely know this family and these kiddos! They have 2 girls just like us but their girls are 5 years apart instead of 2 years apart. I have loved seeing Oakley with Olivia and it’s been so fun to watch both of them grow!
I’ve taken their family photos for a few years now and I’m so grateful every time they choose to come back to me! Austin doesn’t love family photos and as an Idaho Family Photographer, I’m very used to this! And I do everything I can to make your family session fun and painless for everyone! Once we found a good spot, we all jumped out of the car and got started right away with family photos! During my family sessions, I usually start with family photos first and then I go to the littlest family member for individual photos and go from there!
Olivia is a little firecracker and would not sit or stand still for photos so we did our best to get photos on the go with her! haha! And Oakley loves posing so that was easy! Then of course, I took some photos of just mom and dad to end our Kelly Canyon Family Session!
