Oh man, what is there to say about this family!? I went to High School with Tasha and we have been friends ever since, but we have really gotten close since we’ve had kids. Her oldest daughter, Oakley is just a little bit younger than my oldest daughter, Adalynn. So they have been friends basically since they were born. And totally forced friends because Tasha and I are friends! haha! Tasha had another baby girl this summer and of course we had to take updated photos! So, we did this Rexburg Family Session towards the end of September right before all the colors on the leaves turned to fall!

It was a crazy day and we started a bit late so we were chasing some light, but luckily the girls were SO good! Sometimes, I have to really work to get kids comfortable and to get good smiles out of them. But Oakley and Olivia already know me so we were one step ahead! And Oakley was SO excited to take photos this time! I bet it had something to do with showing off her baby sister! She even wanted to take a photo while holding her. So sweet! From what I’ve seen, Oakley is the best big sister and it definitely showed during this session! And, we even got Austin to smile for a few photos too! Most husbands don’t love photos, but I’m grateful that Austin will come along with Tasha and let me take their family photos!

I also was able to try out a new location for this Rexburg Family Session! It’s SO much easier to try new spots and techniques when you know who you’re photographing. So much less pressure! haha. And this location did not disappoint! We had water, a dirt road and tons of beautiful green backdrops! So grateful for this family and their continued support! Also, how CUTE are their outfits!!??? (I helped pick them out! 😉 haha) And Tasha’s hair!!!! Love it!!
