Ohhhhhkayyyy, I am SO excited to post about this Rexburg Idaho Studio Family Session! If you know me, you know that I don’t do studio sessions very often. I would MUCH rather be outside even if the weather is crazy! However, there is something SO special about photographing a new family in a sweet, calm space. Jacob is my brother-in-law and I first met Kaitlyn when our family was visiting for vacation. On that vacation, we found out that Jacob hadn’t proposed yet because the ring hadn’t come yet. They already had a wedding date set and most everything planned so when Jacob told me the ring was going to get there while we were there, I KNEW I had to offer to help with some photos! Their PROPOSAL & ENGAGEMENT photos were so fun and I loved getting to know Kaitlyn more!
Fast forward a couple years and Kaitlyn and Jacob added a sweet little boy to their family! This was my first time taking photos of Elliot and oh.my.gosh. He is THE CUTEST! I love all his little facial expressions and he was so good for the entire session! Jacob and Kaitlyn are so sweet with him and really are such great parents. They love him SO much and I have loved seeing them grow into this season of their lives. Kaitlyn has become a really good friend to me and I’m so grateful that we’ve been able to bond over parenthood, family life and our shared love of the tv show ‘friends’! haha! I’m also totally going to put in a shameless plug for her business NAILS UNTAPPED because she does my nails every month and is INCREDIBLE! This Rexburg Idaho Studio Family Session is one of my favorites! I mean, just LOOK at how cute this little family is!
