Well, I’m sure you can tell by the name that I’m related to these people! haha! Donnie is my brother-in-law and I am SO grateful that his family trusts me to take their family photos every year! They have always been a huge support of me and my business and I absolutely love taking their family photos! This Pocatello Fall Family Session was no different!
I wanted to try a new location that was a little bit further away than I normally photograph, but they were all for it! I know that it can be hard to get littles ready for pictures and then travel a ways to even get to the session, but it was totally worth it and their cute girls did so good during our whole session! Of course, these are my nieces so I get to see them more than just for family photos and I have a little better idea of what makes them smile and laugh. Honestly, I was just so happy to take their photos this year and they always come up with the cutest outfits too!
As photographers in Idaho, we really try to make family sessions fun! So, we started out with lots of tickles and walking and as I tried to end the session with just photos of Donnie & Jamie, their two sweet girls slowly inched their way closer and closer to them which I thought was so cute! And can we talk about these views for a minute too!? Oh.my.gosh. The fall colors were on point! And the mountain views were incredible! Just what we needed for this Pocatello Fall Family Session!
