Okay, so this Pocatello Fall Family Mini Session was SO pretty! Amicherie contacted me just a couple weeks before my minis and wanted to snag one of my mini session spots! And when her cute family showed up on location at Gibson Jack in Pocatello Idaho, their outfits were so perfect for fall and the location! Nathan and Amicherie have been married for 6 years and have 2 cute boys, Samson and Harrison. Harrison and Samson had totally different energies going into the session! haha! But as an Idaho Family Photographer, this is something I’m very used to!
Harrison was SO shy and not wanting to give up his blankie for any photos! And Samson was SO ready to just run around and have fun! haha! Photographing families, especially when they have young kids, I really try to make the experience as fun as possible! If there is any pose or prompt that your kiddo isn’t comfortable with we move right on to the next one! It is not worth it to try and force them to do something they don’t want to do or aren’t comfortable with. So, we just go with the flow and find prompts that work for your family! For the Rodgers family, fun was the name of the game! So, we had everyone tickling each other, walking and running! What’s better for littles than movement, right!? And of course we had to get some of just mom and dad at the very end, which everyone knows is my favorite part of the session!
I loved photographing this little family for their Pocatello Fall Family Mini Session. And this location was definitely one for the books too.
