MiChelle & Skyler’s Idaho Summer Engagements were so fun and playful! MiChelle & Skyler met through Facebook dating, which I didn’t even know was a thing! haha. As Skyler puts it, ‘[He] was about to give up on love and something deep inside told [him] to not give up.’ So, he created a profile on Facebook dating and found MiChelle. They are total opposites and weren’t sure they’d have anything in common, but decided to meet up and ended up just chatting for a while and MiChelle said, ‘even though [they] thought [they] had nothing in common, the conversation flowed.’ She even admitted to Skyler that she was dating another guy and Skyler’s response made MiChelle more sure that he was the one she actually wanted to be with. When I asked him about this at their engagement session, Skyler said that he knew if it was meant to be, she would come back and he told MiChelle to be with the other guy and that they’d always be friends. Little did he know, that this response is exactly what MiChelle needed to hear and they have been together ever since! Uh, as an Idaho Wedding Photographer, I am a sucker for love stories like this!! I told Skyler that I don’t think I would have that much faith if I was in his situation! lol!!!

I really loved being able to see Skyler and MiChelle’s relationship throughout their engagement session. MiChelle is very calm and collected and Skyler is so playful! He was making jokes and trying to get MiChelle to laugh the whole time which I loved seeing! They are SO cute together and definitely prove the adage that ‘opposites attract’. One of the things I loved about these Idaho Summer Engagements was that it was actually cloudy for us! And I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but as an Idaho Wedding Photographer, there is nothing I love more than cloud cover when I am photographing! It’s SO much easier AND makes for beautiful images with even light everywhere! mmmm! I can’t wait for Skyler & MiChelle’s Spring Wedding next year!
