I met Angie through my sister Melanie. They have been friends for years and when I started having kids, I would walk with them every morning off and on for a couple years so I got to know Angie pretty well too! And then of course we moved to Oregon for a couple years and since we’ve been back, life just looks a little different so we haven’t been walking like we used to! So, when Angie said she wanted to book a session, I was super excited! This Idaho Spring Family Session was a little windy, but we found a great location and had lots of fun!
Since I’ve known this family for years, I knew of all of their kids but I’m not sure if I’d actually met some of them. I’m sure they had been at some get togethers at my sister’s house but I hadn’t seen them in a long time! It was so crazy to see them all again and to catch up! They have a daughter named Adalyn too (just spelled differently than my Adalynn. haha) and she was always with her mom Angie when we would walk so I remember her being SO much younger than she is now! They have all grown up a lot and it was so fun to see!
As an Idaho Family Photographer, I always try to make family sessions fun! So, we had everyone running, tickling each other, tackling each other and of course we made sure to get individuals of all the kids! I also love to make sure I grab some of just mom and dad together. Life gets so crazy and I love being able to have the kids take a backseat for a minute so mom and dad can connect! Brett and Angie were so cute to photograph and they have been married for 19 years! We ended this Idaho Spring Family Session taking some more photos of Kimber since she will be graduating High School next year!
