Kaylee & Hunter have been dream clients for me and I am SO grateful I was able to be their Idaho Falls Wedding photographer! We lucked out with great weather for their wedding day and the IDAHO FALLS TEMPLE grounds, where they got married were beautiful!!! It’s so nice to see such vibrant colors after seeing white and brown for so many months! haha. And Kaylee & Hunter were glowing when they came out of the temple! They are SO in love with each other and seeing them right after they got married was so sweet for me! We got in all the group and family photos at the temple and then some of just Kaylee & Hunter. Kaylee kept saying, ‘we’re married!’ and you could just hear the enthusiasm and excitement in her voice every time! Kaylee & Hunter are SO positive normally and of course they were even more so on their wedding day! They were constantly talking to each other and couldn’t get enough of each other! It was like they were the only two people in the world!
Right before their reception, Kaylee & Hunter decided to have a ring ceremony and Kaylee’s brother Corbyn officiated. He shared a few tv show references from some of their favorite shows growing up and clearly took the time to make sure what he said was meaningful to Kaylee & Hunter. Kaylee & Hunter then shared vows and Kaylee pulled out a notebook and read her vows to Hunter. She started with, ‘Dear Hunter’ and towards the end of her vows, she said that she started that notebook in 2020 and wrote it to her ‘future husband’. It was filled with notes to him about how to get through hard times in their marriage and she said that the last page was addressed, ‘Dear Hunter’ because they were finally married now. How sweet is that!?
The rest of the evening was filled with lots of friends and family and just having a great, laid back time! During the reception, I got a compliment from Kaylee’s brother that really meant a lot to me. He said that Kaylee would send them my blog posts so that they could see the images of her and Hunter. I did their ENGAGEMENT SESSION and their BRIDALS SESSION. And he said that he loved that I wrote something about the couple and that it makes it so much more meaningful and special to them. … Being able to write about each couple and share their love story along with the photos I take of them is something that fuels my soul. I love love stories and something special and even sacred to me is that I get to tell love stories of so many different couples. And I get to focus on and find out what is unique to them and their story and highlight that! It truly is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. .. Yes, I love getting compliments of my photos (who doesn’t!?), but when I get a compliment like this where I know that what I’m doing is enriching peoples lives, it is truly special and means so much to me.
