Awh! This Idaho Falls Spring Bridals Session was SO sweet! It was a bit of a struggle finding a good-looking location since everything is pretty much brown right now! But, we found the perfect spot that was actually green!!! Ah, it’s SO nice to photograph color after seeing neutrals for so long! haha! Kaylee and Hunter decided they wanted to have a first look and Hunter got there first. His mom was with him and they let me in on a little secret. Hunter and Kaylee had been waiting for Kaylee’s wedding band to get here and she was getting SO worried that it wouldn’t come in time for the wedding! But, it came in right before their bridals session and Hunter’s mom suggested on waiting to tell Kaylee and then surprising her with it during the session!
So, we got Hunter in place looking off in the distance, and then Kaylee and her mom came over for the session! For first looks, I always like to have the bride physically turn the groom around. This makes it so I’m ready and so the groom doesn’t turn around too early or at the wrong time! Kaylee and Hunter were both SO excited and nervous to see each other which was SO cute! And when Hunter did see Kaylee, he freaked out in the BEST way possible! He was super vocal and was like, ‘DANG GIRL, YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL’! And he seriously just KEPT showering her with compliments! After he took her in for a few minutes, he came up to her really close and I couldn’t exactly hear what he was saying but he pulled a ring box out of his pocket and Kaylee was SHOCKED!!!!! You’ll see what I mean when you see the pictures! She almost immediately started crying after getting over the surprise and Hunter got down on one knee again when he put Kaylee’s engagement ring back on her finger after putting her wedding band on. I am SO glad I was let in on the secret so I could capture that special moment and it made their Idaho Falls Spring Bridals Session even more intimate and meaningful for them.
The weather was a little chilly but the skies were perfect and the light was amazing! We spent the rest of their session capturing all the little details and of course just getting photos of Kaylee and Hunter in their wedding attire. Hunter mentioned multiple times that he couldn’t WAIT to marry Kaylee in 15 DAYS! haha! They also had super cute converse on that had ‘Just Married’ on the soles and ‘Mr’ and ‘Mrs’ on the sides so we had to make sure we captured those details too!
