Fall Colors Mini Session | Hall Family | Sarah Tapp Photo + Events
This fall colors mini session happened right at the beginning of fall when the colors were just starting to turn! As an Idaho Family Photographer, I really try to catch these colors at just the right time every year for my mini sessions! I typically schedule a mini session day when I think the colors will start to turn and when I think they will peak. That way, we can make sure to have some sort of colors on the leaves for either day! And since I am only offering my mini sessions twice a year now, this is way more important!
The Hall family was so sweet and they were just excited to be getting updated family photos! I met Sarah when I was a teenager, maybe even younger than that. We went to the same church and if I remember right, she was one of my leaders at some point. I thought it was cool that we had the same name and I always looked up to her. She is so sweet and kind and is always willing to help! So, when we moved back to Idaho, we connected again and I actually did a family session for her sister and then I reached out when I was scheduling fall sessions and she booked!
I was so excited to do this fall colors mini session with the Hall family because they have 6 kids! It was so funny because when they showed up, I said, ‘I think this is the biggest immediate family I have photographed!’ And they just laughed. haha. Of course, I’ve photographed extended families with more than 8 people, but this is just one family and they are SO close and all get along so well! .. or at least for photos they did! haha! But seriously, this is one of the best families I know and they value love and kindness and family and you can just tell that by being with them for even a short amount of time. Their fall colors mini session went so well and I couldn’t have asked for a better family to photograph!
