So, when I was in college at BYU-Idaho I worked at the University Bookstore on campus. There were full-time employees that were not students over every department in the store. And Dorothy was over textbooks. She was always so nice to me and pretty funny too. I got to know her a little bit through work and when she found out I was a photographer, she asked me to take photos of one of her daughters weddings. I took photos of her wedding and that led to taking photos of one of her sisters weddings too. and that’s where Jessica and Gary come into the picture. haha! I took photos of their wedding back in 2018 which you can see here and then an anniversary session a year later which you can see here. I missed the year they had their sweet baby girl Hazel because we were living in Oregon at the time but when I posted about Cress Creek Mini Sessions this last fall, they reached out and I was so happy!

Jessica and Gary are both a little shy but are seriously some of the sweetest people you will ever meet! I loved photographing their wedding, and anniversary and it was so cool to see them now with their cute little girl Hazel! She is the light of their lives and I love seeing how they interact together as a family! One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing how my couples and families grow and being able to photograph them year after year! It seriously brings me so much joy and means SO much to me when you come back for session after session! So these Cress Creek Mini Sessions meant the world to me! We had hazel tickling her daddy so we could get some photos of just them together and we walked and ran and of course we got some photos of just Jessica & Gary too! Loved photographing this little family of 3!
