Awh, Alexis & Joey’s Classy Pocatello Temple Wedding was so perfect! I was super worried that it was going to be rainy and cold the day of their wedding but we lucked out with sunshine and wind. A LOT of wind! haha! Wind is a little difficult to photograph in but we made it work and sometimes the wind works in your favor like it did for this wedding!
Alexis & Joey are SO cute together and are just so calm and laid back! I love it when my couples are like that! They came out of the temple and had so many friends and family members there to congratulate them! It was so sweet seeing how much they wanted to incorporate their family into their day. We took lots of photo combinations with all the family and one that I loved was Alexis & Joey with both of their immediate families together! I don’t photograph that combo very often so it was super refreshing to me. And their families were so excited for them! After the family and group photos, we just photographed Alexis & Joey as that was also super important for them!
As an Idaho Wedding Photographer, couples that prioritize each other on their wedding day are my favorite!! I love it when couples want photos of just them! We walked around the whole Pocatello Temple grounds and found some beautiful spots for photos. Also, can we just take a second to acknowledge how beautiful Alexis is!? Her dress and veil were SO perfect for her and I loved how the wind was catching her veil and hair! And Joey looked so classy in his blue suit and red tie! They went with 4th of July colors so of course we had to get a couple photos with the flag too which was fun! I loved this Classy Pocatello Temple Wedding and getting to photograph Alexis & Joey on their wedding day!
