Labor Day is coming up! And if you’re anything like us, it’s one day that we don’t really ever have a solid plan. But, that gives us the perfect excuse to see who’s available and just hang out and have fun! For some people Labor Day isn’t necessarily a ‘family’ holiday. It’s that way for us. So, we usually see what friends are open and we get together for a date! Kids or no kids. So, here are 6 fun group date ideas for Labor Day or any day!

~1~ Game night! ~ Okay, if you know me at all, then you know that I am a sucker for games!!!! I would play a game every single night if I had people to play with me. haha. Now, Geoffrey doesn’t really love games, but, I can totally get him to play if there’s more people involved. So, grab some friends , tell them to bring games and just have fun! We love playing bored games but interactive games are super fun too with big groups! And the best thing about this date? — No planning!

~2~ BBQ ~ It is always so fun to get together and bbq! I love just seeing everyone bring their favorite foods and just chatting over some deliciousness! Plus, if the kids are involved, they love just running around and playing while everyone else talks and eats!

~3~ Staycation ~ Now, normally I would much rather just go on vacation with my husband than with a bunch of my friends. BUT, a couple years ago, we won a 1 night stay at a HUGE cabin. And I totally didn’t want to waste all that space! So, we decided to invite all our couple friends and we ate food, played games, sat in the hot tub and then everyone had a FREE 1-night stay away from kids! It was SO FUN! So, plan a staycation and just invite your couple friends. Take the time away from the kids to just relax and have adult conversation!

~4~ Group price is right ~ Okay, so I haven’t actually tried out this date. But, it’s from the Dating Divas, so how can you really go wrong!? Game shows are SO fun! And how awesome would it be to re-create one!? This group price is right game would be a great way to just have some fun and enjoy a little friendly competition. You could also totally create your own game show or copy many of the other game shows out there and invite your friends to join!

~5~ Minute to win it party ~ So, me and my husband have done this date just the 2 of us and it was super fun! And hilarious! But, it’s so easy to adapt to large groups. Minute to win it games are a chance for you to just let loose. Everyone looks silly and feels dumb. But it is so fun and totally brings out your inner kid!
