Ah! The word that keeps coming to mind for this Idaho Summer Temple Wedding is peaceful. Wedding days are normally SO stressful, and I’m sure I was only seeing half of everything, but the feeling that kept coming back to me was peace. Kim & Taylon’s wedding was early on a Friday morning and we thought it might rain, but it held out for us! There was no wind, which is UNHEARD of in Idaho and it was just such a beautiful day. No one was rushing or worried and everyone there was just so happy for Kim & Taylon!
They were so happy coming out of the temple and just took their time giving hugs and celebrating! Then we went to the front of the temple for group photos. We got lots of different combinations, but I think one of my favorites was when Kim asked for a photo of her and her Mother-in-law and sisters-in-laws rings. She also asked for the same photo but with her mom and sisters. …As an Idaho Wedding Photographer I’m not sure if I’ve ever had this request and it was so sweet! And of course we had to get photos of just Kim & Taylon on the temple grounds. … They are just so perfect together and so calm. I loved being with them at the temple and being able to capture their relationship!
Later that evening, we headed to their reception to celebrate! They had SO many friends and family come to see them and I’m pretty sure the highlight of their reception was the ice cream sundae bar! Especially for the kids! haha. Kim & Taylon cut the cake, had a daddy daughter dance and of course shared their first dance as husband and wife. Everything for their Idaho Summer Temple Wedding ran so smoothly and was so beautiful! Not to mention the incredible decor by RIGBY WEDDING RENTALS and the gorgeous cake by REXBURG CAKES! Congrats Kim & Taylon!!!
