Well, Geoffrey and I now have a 7 week old baby girl! So, our lives have changed …just a little. šŸ˜‰ That’s a lie. Our lives have changed A LOT! haha. So, for the first month after our sweet Adalynn was born, date nights were a little neglected. BUT, we are startingĀ to get the hang of this whole parenting thing. So, for one of our recent dates we decided to take Adalynn to hang out with my sister for a couple hours.
We were very tempted to just take a nap. But instead, we made dinner together and played a new game! Geoffrey and I like to get each other gifts for Valentine’s Day and Geoffrey got me this awesome game! I LOVE games so it was perfect! And the meal we made was SO GOOD! A new favorite for sure.
I know this sounds so simple for a date, but honestly it was so fun! It was such a needed break and we made sure we had some cuddle time. Both Geoff and I’s love languages are quality time. So, usually it doesn’t matter what we’re doing for date night, as long as we get to spend some time together. Talking, laughing, connecting.
Here’s a link to this recipe! It’s SO easy, which is a must for me because I am so lazy!

Ā And of course, I made Geoffrey a traditional Valentine’s breakfast. I have a really strict diet…so he doesn’t always get yummy food!
