Oh. my. goodness. I was NOT expecting this Idaho Sunflower Maternity Session to be SO incredible! I had heard about the Wild Adventure Corn Maze in Idaho Falls Idaho and their Sunflower Days and this was the first year I saw it in person! And it was AMAZING! They have acres of sunflowers AND a wildflower patch and I knew I needed to do some sessions there! My friend Mandi is expecting and she LOVES sunflowers so we picked a time and made a maternity session happen!

The Idaho sky was SHOWING UP for us this night and we had the perfect summer weather! We started on the outskirts of the sunflower patch and slowly made our way into the middle! The sunflowers were as tall as us and even though there were a lot of other people taking photos, we couldn’t really see any of them! haha! We could hear people, but because the sunflowers are so tall and so dense, we had all the privacy we needed for these sweet photos! Mandi and her husband Dylan were SO cute together and honestly didn’t even need much direction from me! They were just so natural together and you could see the quiet excitement in their eyes about meeting their sweet little boy soon! … Mandi has had two miscarriages and had a stillborn baby at 6 months so this little guy is a HUGE blessing! Mandi and Dylan are so ready to be parents and just based on seeing how they interacted with each other during their session, I’m sure that they will be INCREDIBLE with their little boy! Mandi even has her little guy’s room all ready for him! I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to photograph this Idaho Sunflower Maternity Session and I’m so excited for Mandi and Dylan to enter this new phase in their lives!
