Awh! I was SO excited for Spring Mini Sessions this year because I did them at THE MEADOW in Ririe Idaho. I had asked the owner if I could use the property for mini sessions and he was all for it! We just had to wait until everything bloomed and luckily, we picked a great weekend! This Idaho Family Session at The Meadow was perfect and I LOVED photographing the Willis Family!

This little family grew by one since the last time I did their ORCHARD MINI SESSION last Spring. Their first daughter, Hadlee is adopted and they officially adopted another little girl, Rayleigh in March! It was so fun to see how the dynamic of their family has changed and how Hadlee has grown! She is the BEST big sister and it was so cute to see her and Rayleigh together! Reminds me of my girls! Katie and Mark are some of the best parents and people I know! They are so kind, always thinking of others and so welcoming and loving! It seems like Katie and Hadlee always have smiles on their faces and it’s so encouraging to know people like that!

One of my favorite parts of Idaho family sessions is pulling mom and dad away for a minute to photograph just the two of them. … When I first started my business, families were not my favorite to photograph, but I did a lot of them because I was trying to grow my business. … As I got more experience, I found out that I LOVED photographing couples and weddings! So, for a while, all I posted was that. …Then I asked my followers what they wanted to see and so many of you said you wanted to see it all! Since then, I’ve posted almost every session I photograph and families, believe it or not, have actually become something I enjoy photographing. … But I do still have a soft spot for couples, which is why, during this Idaho Family Session at The Meadow, I made sure to pull Katie and Mark aside for a couple pictures of them. I asked them to dance and they stood there for a second and then BOTH broke into excited, individual dancing and it was hilarious! haha! After that, I said, SLOW dance! We got some pretty cute laughs and their girls thought it funny too!
