Amber & Byron have a unique story. They met at the apple athletic club gym in the hot tub! And as Amber puts it, ‘Byron is a country guy so he was being silly and singing country songs that were playing at the pools’. They had a lot to talk about and had their first date the next day! Fast forward to Christmas of 2020 where they and their families were celebrating together at Amber & Byron’s house. Amber’s mom ‘said she needed [her] to ride to her [mom’s] house with her so she could get her glasses but when [they] got back to [Amber & Byron’s] house she had [Amber] close her eyes and she led [her] downstairs where Byron and [her] whole family were waiting. There was a whole setup with candles and sunflowers and petals with Byron kneeling on one knee with the ring’. Their Idaho Falls barn wedding was on a perfect October day at the Barn on 1st street.
Before the wedding, I had talking to Amber about a surprise that she wanted to do for Byron. So, when I got there we jumped right into this hilarious surprise! One of Byron’s buddies dressed up in a wedding gown and surprised him with a first look when he thought he’d be seeing Amber & his daughter. haha!!! This is the first time I’ve had a request like this and it was SO funny! And perfect for Byron! He totally just went with it and had fun with it! And then of course, we did the real first look with Amber and their daughter and it was so sweet! We took a few photos before the ceremony and then it was time for them to get married! Byron was so fun and struck a few poses as he was walking down the aisle! haha! He is definitely the life of the party and it was so fun to see him and Amber interact! She is just calm and pretty quiet but follows along with his goofiness and I loved it! These two were so fun and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to capture their Idaho Falls barn wedding! Congrats!
