Well, this year has been a crazy one! I have learned some valuable lessons and have had some amazing experiences. And I’ve really been thinking lately about enjoying life and living in the moment. A lot of the time, I feel like the holiday season is so busy and hectic that we forget to stop and think about what’s really important. But this season, I’ve really had time to reflect on this whole year and on the things that matter most. My daughter turns 1 on Dec. 30th and just the past couple days, I’ve realized how fast she’s growing. I’ve realized that I am so thankful to be her mama and I’ve realized that my family is really what matters most.

Family has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up in the LDS church and I’ve always been taught that families are forever. That there is nothing that can take that away from us except our own decisions. And this Christmas, I am reminded over and over again that I will have my family forever. That because of my Savior I can enjoy every second with them for eternity and I am so grateful for that.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and I hope that this season you will be able to slow down, even just for a moment and take the time to remember what matters most.
