Okay, so I know that there’s a million places online that you can go to have your wedding invitations made and if that’s the route you want to go, then do it! But, I also really believe in hiring vendors that have a passion for what they do and can give you a quality experience for your wedding. And that is exactly what you’ll get with a professional designer! So for this weeks Vendor Feature Series, I am giving you a list of the Best Wedding Invite Designers that I know!
Anthology Print based in Rexburg Idaho started their business in 2007 right after the owner’s wedding! ‘She and her fiance designed and printed their own wedding invites because it was more affordable and fit exactly the style she wanted. It was hard to find something that she loved so she commissioned her graphic design fiance to design their wedding invitations. After getting married, she started designing and printing freelance wedding invitations, slowly adding new designs onto a portfolio blog. The small freelance business grew into a full design and print company that offers 8 different paper stocks to print on, hundreds of designs, a full online ordering design service, and more’. Isn’t that incredible?! Anthology Print offers designs online, in their studio or over Zoom AND they offer just print services as well! As far as pricing goes, they have SO many different options including, ‘Matte Cardstock, Glossy, Satin, Linen, Pearl, Vellum, Torn Edge, and Letterpress and can add on beautiful touches like metallic foil, wax seals, and belly bands’. They also offer ‘time-saving services such as return and guest address printing on your envelopes, ceremony details cards, and personalized Thank You cards’. Their most popular cards range in price from $104-$360 for 100-1000 prints and their print turnaround time is usually 6-8 business days. Their best advice to couples planning their wedding is to ‘Make it your own! Embrace what truly makes you as a couple unique and go with it for your wedding. Stay fairly organized and ask for help when you need it. Planning a wedding is a big job and everything will go much smoother when you choose your wedding vendors thoughtfully and lean into their talents’. I could not agree more!! Anthology Print always suggests ordering a complementary sample pack to help decide what you want to go with! www.anthologyprint.com/freesamplepack2 ~ INSTAGRAM ~ FACEBOOK ~ WEBSITE
Raquel Awerkamp Desgins based in Idaho Falls Idaho is not only an amazing designer but also an incredible artist! When I asked Raquel when and why she started her business, she said, ‘I started doing freelance work in January 2020. I was working for a small startup company that suddenly went under, my husband had just started a masters program in Healthcare Administration and we were expecting our first baby girl. I graduated with a bachelors in Graphic Design thinking that one day I could work from home as a stay at home mom. Now was the time to put my skills to use! It was exciting right out of the gate. The first logo I designed for a client ended up on a storefront in provo along with banners and other marketing materials I designed for them. It was very exciting for me to see my small freelance business being so successful right from the start’. Raquel said that one of her favorite parts of her business is ‘the creative process. [She’s] been drawing ever since [she] was a little girl and ha[s] a real love of art. Graphic Design … is another artform: taking someone’s initial ideas and organizing them into something beautiful. It’s very satisfying’. Raquel Awerkamp Designs charges $70 per hour and always gives a full estimate on the scope of work before she starts anything! AND if you mention this post, she will give you 25% off!!! Raquel’s best advice to couples planning their wedding is ‘There is so much to think about as you prepare for a marriage. Don’t get overwhelmed by all the little details and customs that come with wedding planning. Do what you want. Make it as big or as small and simple as you want. This is YOUR day’. ~ INSTAGRAM ~ FACEBOOK ~ WEBSITE
Christina Tiffany Design Co is based in Twin Falls Idaho and when asked about starting her business she said, ‘The first wedding invitation suite I created was for my own wedding in 2017. I absolutely fell in love with the entire process and then I created a few invitations for friends and families weddings and birthdays before finally launching Christina Tiffany Design Co. in 2020′. She ‘design[s] and print[s] bespoke wedding paperie (paper good and invitation suites)’. Christina’s favorite part of her business is ‘getting to know [her] couples and seeing their unique love story and personality come to life in their invitations (the first glimpse of their wedding [that] their guests will see) and then all the details throughout their wedding’. Christina Tiffany Design Co has pricing ranging from about $3.50-$10 per invitation but is always willing to work with a couples budget! She can also ship anywhere in the country and likes to start the invitation process with her couples 6-8 months before their wedding! When I asked Christina what her best advice to couples planning their wedding is, she said ‘I love my DIY brides! But be careful to not stretch yourself too thin. The wedding preparation season should be sweet and fun but I have seen many brides that take on too many projects and end up stressed out, overwhelmed, and sometimes even over budget. I recommend booking services with professionals that can help share the load of wedding planning (so you have more time for the things that fill your cup) and work within your budget!’ I LOVE THIS! Christina also threw in an amazing offer for couples who reference this post! A 10% discount and free envelope addressing through September 2023! ~ INSTAGRAM ~ WEBSITE
