Kami & Vance’s Backyard Idaho Country Wedding was so perfect! As always, the Idaho weather is super unpredictable, but we had a beautiful day with just a little bit of cloud cover! And the ceremony space was beautiful! Kami’s sons walked her down the aisle and Vance’s face was pure joy when he saw her. The ceremony was short and sweet with vows and a ring exchange before Kami & Vance shared their first kiss as husband and wife! The officiant pointed out Vance’s parents and how faithful they have been to each other. He wished for Kami & Vance to have a marriage like theirs.
After the ceremony, we gathered for group and family photos and then photos of just Kami & Vance! These two are so cute together! You can tell that they are both so generous and are truly concerned with how the other feels. They just want to make each other happy and that is evident in how they interact with each other. Vance couldn’t stop saying, ‘I love you’ to Kami and it was the sweetest thing to witness! … Right after everyone got their dinner and was seated, Kami & Vance had each table introduce themselves and say how they knew the couple. I loved that! It was small and intimate and they really made an effort to include everyone and were so grateful for everyone that was there to celebrate with them! Kami & Vance also wanted to share the story of how they met, because even some of their kids didn’t know! haha! Kami said that one day, her daughter asked her if she had tried the dating app called Mutual. Kami wasn’t sure of it because decided to give it a try and found Vance on there pretty quickly. She recognized him and felt like she knew him from somewhere. Come to find out, they had served in similar church callings and had met at an activity years before. … The rest of the evening was filled with so many congratulations and just watching this sweet couple make their rounds and talk to everyone who had come to support them! I’m so grateful I was able to photograph this Backyard Idaho Country Wedding for Kami & Vance! Congrats you two!
