Besides a personal connection, editing is usually the next thing people look for when hiring a photographer. I know that I personally, am super particular with editing styles! When it comes to my own family photos, I want them to be light, airy and super bright! And I do follow a little bit of that with my editing. I don’t talk about the back-end of my business very often because I just want to make sure that you’re taken care of. I’d way rather share about your story and your love than about editing. But, I do think it’s important for you to know exactly what kind of editing style I have so that you are happy with your choice in me and with your images!

I try SO HARD to make sure all my work is cohesive and edited in the same way so that it’s consistent. I want you to know that no matter what type of lighting situation your wedding is in, your images will turn out the same as what you see on my social media and website! And that is bright, light and true to color! I want to make sure that you see your images how you ACTUALLY saw your surroundings through your OWN EYES (but just a little bit brighter for printing purposes)! I am all about authenticity and what’s REAL! I’m not going to edit the image so it’s darker or a different color than the event actually was. Yes, I’ll tweak the colors a little bit and I will make my images a bit lighter than your eye sees them because a printer will typically print darker than lighter. But, that’s it! It’s so important to me, for you to remember how you FELT on your wedding day. And if my editing style can be exactly how you saw everything, then you won’t be distracted. You’ll remember the joy you had at that moment and you’ll remember with clarity the love that you felt on the most important day of your life!
