Sydney & Dylan | Lithia Springs Resort Wedding | Sarah Tapp Photography

I could not WAIT for Sydney & Dylan to get married! We took their engagement photos a couple months ago and I knew how excited they were for this day! I showed up to Lithia Springs Resort in Ashland, Oregon and Sydney was just having the finishing touches of make-up put on. I snuck out to take a few photos of the ceremony & reception space and scout out a couple places for portraits. When I came back, Sydney was ready to get in her amazing David’s Bridal gown surrounded by her mom, stepmom and sisters who zipped her up and made sure she was looking perfect for her big day! After she was all ready, Sydney’s dad came into the room and Sydney immediately teared up. You could tell that this was such a special day for not only Sydney and Dylan, but for everyone that came to support them.

We took separate bride and groom and family portraits before the ceremony so Dylan wouldn’t see Sydney until she walked down the aisle. Sydney & Dylan’s cute boys were first to come down the aisle and came so fast that I almost missed them! They were practically running! haha. But when Dylan saw Sydney, it was like everything stopped. There were lots of tears during the ceremony and a super sweet moment with all the guests and with their boys when the 3 boys came up and made a circle with their parents. Not only were Sydney & Dylan getting married, but with their boys, they were becoming a new family and it was so sweet to see that moment too.

Following the ceremony, we got all the group photos and then some of just the couple. The venue had so many beautiful intimate spots for photos! It was gorgeous! Dinner was served and then there were toasts and dances. Sydney & Dylan shared their first dance as husband and wife … And I have to say, other than the ceremony, this is always the time that I tear up. When Sydney & Dylan were dancing, it was like no one else was even there. Dylan was giving his full undivided attention to his new wife and it was such a beautiful moment to watch. It was like nothing else even mattered and I am just so blessed that I was able to take in that moment with them. And then the tears continued as Sydney shared a dance with her dad and Dylan shared a dance with his mom. You could just tell during this whole wedding that this event was more than just a party. It was a union, a new beginning, a beautiful start to something amazing. And I am SO grateful I had the opportunity to just be a part of it. I am SO happy for you Sydney & Dylan! Congrats!
