GUYS. I have been waiting a whole YEAR to post this blog! Last September I attended a photo retreat in Island park put on by the lovely Janelle of Janelle & Co. Photo. It was SO fun and really re-ignited my passion for photographing and creativity. This shoot was soooooo far outside my comfort zone but I really wanted to push myself. And when I finally had a chance to look through the images it was after Halloween last year!

But, I mean, how perfect are these for halloween! Such a moody vibe and I decided I’d just wait to share them until this halloween! And now we’re here! Mckenzie & Blake were awesome and hardly needed any direction at all which is SO nice as a photographer! I would put them in place and they’d just pose themselves! haha. I don’t normally shoot anything so serious or moody but it was really fun to try something new and I’m so glad I did!
