Wow. What can I say about this wedding!? Lacie is my best friend and I was helping her plan everything so it was such a different experience for me than any of my other weddings! I absolutely loved being her bridesmaid, wedding planner and photographer! Her and Michael were sealed for time and all eternity in the Rexburg Idaho Temple on January 18th, 2019. I had the privilege of being there with them as they covenanted to be husband and wife and I can’t tell you how special that was to me. Lacie has waited so long to find someone worthy enough to take her to the temple. And while neither Michael nor Lacie are perfect, they strengthen each other and complement each other so well and I am so happy that they found each other!

Their reception was the next day and they had so many family and friends there to celebrate with them! They had personal and unique touches that went with their 50’s theme, complete with a record player and french fry bar! (which, by the way, was a total hit!) They ended the night by sharing their first dance as husband and wife and it was beautiful. I have to admit that I teared up when I looked over at Lacie’s mom watching her youngest daughter dance with her new husband. And then the tears just kept coming when they did a bouquet dance for all the married couples. The one couple left on the dance floor after the song was over was Michael’s parents who’ve been married for 32 years. And they shared some advice with the couple that I hope they never forget. Michael’s dad Allen said, ‘Remember to put each other first. [But also remember that] it takes time, work, effort, patience and sacrifice’. I love this couple and I am so grateful that I had to opportunity to be part of their special day! Congrats LacieAnne & Michael!
