Keren & Michael | Aspen Grove Wedding | Idaho Wedding Photographer | Sarah Tapp Photography

Michael and Keren have such a unique story. They met at bible camp in California. He was from California, she was from Peru. She told her parents about him and they said, nope, let’s go home. But Michael was already pretty serious about her. He came to Peru a couple of times to visit her but most of their relationship was long distance. They fell in love and prayed about the decision to marry. And they both felt that it’s what God wanted them to do. So Michael proposed and they got married in Peru! Michael’s family wasn’t able to be there so they had a second ceremony here complete with handmade bouquets, a beautiful wedding dress and an intimate setting with just family and friends. I loved hearing the toasts at the end of the night. Some were funny and some were sweet. But the one that really got to me was Ivan’s (Keren’s dad). He kept mentioning that everything we do is about God’s will. And that struck me. It’s apparent by how Keren and Michael celebrated their wedding, that God is very important to them. After all, He’s the one that brought them together. And as I watched Keren and Michael’s first dance, I knew that they would always keep God in their relationship. They would worship Him and be faithful to Him and to each other. Keren and Michael, I wish you all the best and a life filled with love and laughter!

Thank you to Sugar Shell for the cake, Billman’s catering for dinner, Rigby Wedding Rentals for the arch and decor and Aspen Grove Inn for the venue.
