Behind the Scenes Part 1 | Before your session or wedding| Idaho Wedding Photographer | Sarah Tapp Photography

Client experience is SO IMPORTANT to me and I want to make SURE that you have an amazing time during sessions and on your wedding day! So, I wanted to share a behind the scenes look into exactly how I take care of you during the whole process! From first contact to image delivery!

Even before you contact me, I do my absolute best to curate my social media with the best images and messages possible! I want to make sure that you know who I AM. I want you to know that I love the show Friends and that my family is most important to me. I want you to see that I’m going to lift you up and take care of you so well! But I also want you to see that I’m not perfect. That sometimes I have to take each day at a time, but that I always strive to learn something from it…even if I don’t learn it right away. I want you to see that I’m HUMAN and that I’m LIKE YOU!

So, after you’ve made some sort of connection with me on any of my social media platforms, you’ll send an inquiry! And that’s when I get really excited! Because it means that you’ve seen my work and seen ME and YOU’VE felt something inside! I’ll read your inquiry and make sure I take the time to really understand what you’re saying and looking for. And then I strive to respond within 24 hours! That way, you don’t have to wait too long! I’ll respond with a link to my pricing guide and let you in to my world a little bit more. I’ll ask about your wedding and make sure I connect with you on any important details! I’ll answer ANY and ALL questions! There are NO stupid ones! I love being able to reassure you that everything is going to be taken care of and that you are going to get the BEST service and experience possible!

I’ll explain a little bit about the booking process and let you know how much is required to hold your session or wedding date! Once you have given me the go ahead, I’ll send over a contract and invoice! But then the exciting part, is that right after you book, you get a Welcome Guide just for you! Curated with what to wear for your session, how to start planning your wedding and suggested vendors for you to get started! I’ll even help you pick out outfits if you can’t make a decision or still aren’t sure what to wear! I’ll send a questionnaire so that I can get to know you better before your session or wedding! I ask what images YOU want and I start to think of locations and posing prompts for my session with you! I’ll also send you a link to my blog so you can see all the places I’ve shot at! You pick your favorite and let me know and then we choose a date and time that will work best for your session! Aside from weddings, I like to photograph all my sessions about and hour before sunset or an hour after sunrise. This is when the light is the best and it’s SOOOOO pretty! Then we’ll finalize a date for your session and I’ll follow up 24 hours before to make sure we’re still good to go!
